HERE’S HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
This position is responsible for a range of general accounting and financial functions including
but not limited to payroll and sales tax preparations, bank reconciliations, assisting with Service
contract and Daywork billings as well as other accounting functions as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH:
To perform this position successfully, the following responsibilities must be performed

• Processing weekly payroll including non-union and union employees (with multiple contracts)
• Process Accounts Payable non purchase order and purchase order invoices for payment
• Process/submit Accounts Receivable invoices
• Post daily cash receipts
• Prepare Service Contract Billings
• Bank statement reconciliation on a monthly basis
• Withholding tax reporting for State and Federal government
• Preparation of some Daywork Billings
• Determining sales & use tax statuses of all jobs and work orders
• Receiving and sending sales tax exemptions certificates
• Sales & Use tax reporting & payments and entries to adjust sales and use tax
• Review time card entry on a weekly basis
• Uploading 401K’s and Health savings accounts to employees’ accounts on a weekly basis
• Any employee reimbursements and subsistence checks and monitoring the subsistence
• Setting up new vendors and customers in the system and sending out new customer information
that is requested
• Daily reconciliation of bank account and general ledger including all ACH receipts and
payments
• Perform any special assignments, additional projects, or other job-related duties as may be
necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position as required
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
• 2-4 year Accounting degree
• 2+ years of related accounting experience preferred
• Prior experience processing payroll in a union environment
• Career minded and interested in taking on increasing levels of responsibility
• Excellent knowledge of computers, email, spreadsheets and internet resources
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Working knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping practices and principals
• Must be very detail oriented and efficient
• Knowledge of basic & advanced math skills
• Strong proficiency with Excel, including working experience with formulas, if statement,
pivot tables, and v- lookups
• Proven track record of good attendance, punctuality and ability to work required schedule
• Must meet the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation
