Dave Taylor

Dave Taylor serves as the Technical Services Division Manager at HMI, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, including Service Technicians, Dispatch/CSRs and Service Sales. With a diverse background encompassing mechanical, electrical, building automation system (BAS) controls, automation programming, mechanical engineering, combat engineering, project management and personnel management, Dave brings immeasurable expertise to the role. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering Technology, along with certifications in Airframe & Powerplant, Diesel Mechanics and Electronics Engineering. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Dave has accumulated 37 years of HVAC/BAS Control/Engineering experience, contributing significantly to HMI’s industrial platform. Dave is a team player who actively supports career advancement, provides solutions to HVAC/BAS Control challenges and offers guidance to his colleagues. In his leisure time, Dave enjoys fishing, hunting, outdoor activities, site seeing and unwinding with a cold beer.
